Accessibility statement
Custos Oy aims to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA across the public website, the owner application, the field application and the Aftercare portal.
Last revised 18 August 2026
Compliance status
Partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. The shortcomings listed below are known, scheduled, and each has an equivalent route to the same information. This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out in August 2026.
What we have done
- Tap targets
- Every control is at least 44 by 44 pixels, with visible focus on keyboard use.
- Contrast
- Text and interface elements meet or exceed the 4.5:1 ratio against their background.
- Structure
- Semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields throughout.
- Motion
- Transitions are short and honour the reduced-motion setting of the operating system.
- Text
- The interface reflows to 320 pixels and text may be enlarged to 200 per cent without loss.
Known shortcomings
- Uploaded documents
- Scanned PDFs supplied by manufacturers may lack a text layer. We extract text where we can and show a reading-quality mark when we cannot.
- Photographs
- Evidence photographs carry a caption rather than a full description of the image.
- Interactive map
- Route planning in the field app is not usable by keyboard alone; a list view carries the same information.
